The
park is surrounded by green fields but is only two and a half miles from
Llandudno centre. We are half a mile from local shops and about one mile
from the nearest beach. There are several local pubs and restaurants
within walking distance, and we are only one and a half miles from
Rhos-on-Sea with its picturesque harbour and beach, its golf course and
cricket club. In Llandudno, besides a good
shopping centre, we have the North Wales Theatre, a ski-slope, a museum,
the Great Orme's head and copper mines, to name but a few. In Colwyn Bay
(two miles to the East) there is a fine sandy beach, a good leisure centre
and in the hills behind a fascinating Zoo. Our
location gives people an excellent base to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey,
and the Llyn Peninsula as well as, in the other direction, the less
spectacular but quieter areas of the Clwydian Range. Nearer to hand is the
historic walled town of Conwy and the Conwy valley, home of the National
Trust's Bodnant Gardens, Trefriw Woollen mills, and the spectacular
scenery of Betws-y-coed. To find out more
